Donna Borgida started painting when she was a teenager and had her first solo art show when she was 18. She majored in fine arts and studied one year abroad at an art school in England, where she showed her work at a group show in northern England. After a creative career in the textile industry, she went back to painting full time a few years ago, and has since displayed her work at a variety of different galleries, art fairs, and expositions, including Art Basel, Shane Townley, Galerie Le Chien d’Or, Thomson Gallery, Expo Milano, Swiss Expo, and Casa del Arte. She also has upcoming exhibitions at Janes Studios NYC, Arrival Gallery x Milan 2026, AGI Fine Art's New York, I Love You show, and NxEra Gallery's Surface 2 show.

Her art is inspired by juxtaposition and gradation. She is known for her use of layering, gradients, and projections to make opposites (in texture, technique, color) work together. Cohesion from chaos; calm born and developed through the layers.
